I have had this camera for quite awhile and it has lived up to my expectations. Ease of handling and the quality of the product make this a good buy. If you are looking for an excellent camera that doesn't cost a fortune, this is the one.

Purchased this camera after an agonizing internal debate concerning its seeming merits versus a DSLR. Chose this lightweight alternative and am thrilled that I did. It delivers virtually all that I had hoped to achieve with a DSLR while requiring far less room and much lighter in weight. Makes for a much easier decision to have the camera 100% of the while on vacation. The only deficiency the camera seems to have is on those very rare occations when an ultra-zoom telephoto is needed. With this camera you will experience slight barelling if you zoom more than 12x. Love all the pre-set options and the somewhat intuitive shooting mode options. The vairious black and white options are incredible.The RAW shooting option also adds substantial dimension to your output.
