With a back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a noise reduction function incorporating the algorithm used on the GR DIGITAL III (introduced August 2009), the new Ricoh CX3 digital camera has dramatically improved image quality performance when shooting low-light scenes. When the camera is pointed at the subject, the new "scene auto mode" will switch to the optimum scene mode. Since the camera automatically changes to the optimum shooting settings, you can enjoy easy shooting of beautiful photographs. Shooting has never been more enjoyable.

we had the ricoh cx1 whats just the same almost the same. but i had a issue with indoors with the ricoh cx1. i realize after a while indoor faces came out to pink. so i send it back got my money back and got this one. well this one indoors does a better job, faces come lovely and natural. but i have to play with the ISO and put on 100 or 200 because if not it comes out to hight and then does not look good. but its a nice well made camera.people dont know much about ricoh en usa . they sell it more in asia and europe. its fast, its very extremly well made cameras and the quality is very good.sorry my english ...
