With just a half hour to go until it was time to leave for a talent show, I opened the box and was pleased with how little needed to be done to make it functional. I whipped on the lense cap and neck strap and put in the memory card and batteries, set the date and time, and then I was off to take pictures (on auto until I read the manual).I LOVE the quality of the pictures as well as the ease of use. I even let my nine year old daughter take some pictures with it a few nights ago.I've enjoyed the zoom on this camera too.It did a great job capturing kids moving and playing.The videos this camera takes are great quality.I've been using this camera for nearly a month now and have taken 1,849 pictures. It's just fun to play with and capture so many wonderful memories.Um, did I mention I LOVE this camera?
